Phil Jones selects his ultimate Manchester United five-a-side team… and puts Dimitar Berbatov in DEFENCE
Phil Jones believes Dimitar Berbatov would make the perfect five-a-side defender – even better than Rio Ferdinand.When asked to name a dream five-a-side team from past and present Manchester United team-mates, the Englishman picked Berbatov to partner Nemanja Vidic at the back.2

There was one big surprise among Jones’ selection

Unlike Vidic, the graceful Bulgarian striker was not exactly known for putting his body on the line and flying into tackles.But Jones explains why he would slot seamlessly into the imaginary back two.2

Speaking to Goal, he said: “I’ll go David [De Gea] No brainer. “Five-a-side so, do you know what? I’m going to be stupid here. I’m going to put Berba there. Berbatov.“Berba used to annoy me in training, every single training session. He used to play at centre-half and when I said to him ‘no, the manager asked me to play there’, he was like ‘no, go somewhere else’.
