He finished the match at Wembley Stadium playing on the opposite wing to fellow teen star Sancho, who he has kept a close eye on this season.Sancho decided to leave Manchester City for German club Borussia Dortmund in 2017 after becoming frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at the Etihad Stadium and his move had paid dividends. The 18-year-old has been in stunning form this season with nine goals and 17 assists in 35 games for the Bundesliga side and has been rewarded with a place in Englands last two squads, making four appearances.Jadon Sancho has nine goals and 17 assists for Dortmund this season2

And, asked if he took inspiration from Sanchos path to the team, Hudson-Odoi told talkSPORT’s England correspondent Nigel Adderley: Yeah definitely.Sancho has played so well this season. Ive been watching him, so to come on the pitch and play with him and link up with him. It was absolutely amazing, a great feeling.Playing two youth players, its massive for England and the youth set up. Everyone is trying to push the youth to come through, which is amazing. We just have to keep going and keep working hard because hopefully there will be many more times where we can play together.I definitely want some more. Ive just got to keep working hard in training and hopefully the chance comes again.
